PetSmart Charities
PetSmart Charities is North America’s leading animal welfare organization, donating funds to help pets in need. See Case Study >
Annual reports for PetSmart Charities outline the funds granted to animal welfare groups. More importantly, over 400,000 pets are saved each year.
Science Foundation Arizona
Science Foundation Arizona (SFAZ) supports effective education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in Arizona. See Case Study >
To raise awareness about the importance of math and science education in Arizona schools, Summation produced this fundraising campaign for SFAZ which featured a blank, hardbound book entitled A 21st Century History of Innovation in Arizona. Its intent was to bring to the forefront the lack of progress in these fields, and to encourage people to get involved and make a difference. Summation also produced a brochure using vivid, colorful photography of Arizona’s natural outdoor beauty juxtaposed with technical and scientific imagery for a visually contrasting and memorable effect.
Governor’s Arts Awards
The Governor’s Arts Awards are presented annually by Arizona Citizens for the Arts, the Arizona Commission on the Arts, and the Office of the Governor of Arizona to recognize outstanding achievement and contributions to the Arizona arts community.
To commemorate The Governor’s Arts Awards’ 10th anniversary, Summation used Native American art examples reflecting the shape of an “X” (the Roman numeral for “10”) for their print collateral.
Pikes Peak Community Foundation
Pikes Peak Community Foundation (PPCF) is committed to improving the quality of life in the Pikes Peak region in Colorado through education, understanding, and the practice of philanthropy.
Representing community philanthropy in the pine forested region of Pikes Peak, Colorado, Summation developed this new logo design for PPCF as well as this donor brochure.

Phelps Dodge Corporation was an American mining company now owned by Freeport-McMoRan, the world’s largest producer of gold and copper.

Comedy Counts
This fundraising charitable event featured stand-up comedians, hosted by noted writer and comedian Marc Maron.
A logo and positioning line were developed and used on all collateral and advertising to promote the event.
City of Phoenix–Office of Arts and Culture
The Office of Arts and Culture manages the city’s public art program, administers grants, and supports arts learning.
Summation created this call for entries for site proposals for an upcoming public water canal project. Letterpress printing on chipboard conveyed a natural feel, with translucent pages creating the sense of looking into water.
