The Ride 430 Challenge is an annual non-profit cycling event which helps America’s injured military service people and their families by offering hope and assistance as they travel the long road to recovery. The philanthropic bicycle ride begins in Scottsdale, Arizona, and ends four days and 430 miles later at the Gunfighter’s Squadron Hangar at Camp Pendleton in California.
A brand revitalization started with a new name derived from the number of miles in this cycling event. An extensive design exploration resulted in a logo that reflects this organization’s dedication to America’s military veterans with an annual charity bicycle ride. The final logo was applied to cycling apparel, promotional items, and marketing materials.
Featuring imagery of cyclists from previous years’ rides, this print collateral captured the moving story of the organization. It was used throughout the year to enlist new corporate sponsors and encourage the public to become involved.
A stationery system showcased the new logo and color palette that was established in the brand guide developed by Summation.
The website design included an events section, a team store, and a members page for rider sponsorship.
These promotional items showcase the versatility and strength of the new logo design.
